@Roger12345, That is definitely something we should test. Could you please contact our support team so that we can replicate and confirm the same and find out if this started after the upgrade? You can use the link below to contact support. I do not see anything like this reported already, so we can start working on it.…

Hello @Roger12345, Welcome to SonicWall community. I think the symptoms are similar, but in @CFT 's case the issue is while connecting to SMA and in your case it is while connecting to the SonicWall NSA 3600 itself. Could you please let us know the firmware version you are running on the NSA 3600 and the version of…

Yes, @Larry. MAR-18733 is the Jira tracking number. I see that the case is assigned to a senior engineer as well as he is actively working with Development on it. Feel free to ask for status updates for the Jira number on the case if he has not sent you already. Thanks!

Including @Vijay_Kumar_KV and @Simon for their inputs on the SMA side.

@CFT, Welcome to SonicWall community. Are the VPN users imported on the firewall? We should just import the VPN user group and let the authentication reflect from the AD itself. If imported, we would need to re-import them if any changes are made. Could you please check that? Thanks!

@Darshil, Honestly, these values are pre-determined as per the model. 1.67k itself is a huge number for a TZ 300. Unfortunately, there is no way around that. I would suggest cleaning up the address objects table. I have noticed that we add objects and tend to forget about it although it is no longer in use. Thanks!
-
Hello @Darshil, Every firewall model has a maximum number of address objects that it supports. How many objects are already added to the firewall? It is possible that the limit has been exceeded resulting in that error. Moving this to 'Entry level firewalls' category for better results as this is regarding a TZ 300. Thanks!

Glad the issue is fixed. Would you like to share what was the issue and how you resolved it? Thanks!

Hello @Paul_Celin75, In that case the Any, Any, Any LAN to WAN rule should allow this traffic. Are you using client DPI SSL ? If yes, could you please exclude the FTP server from DPI SSL and test once? In passive mode, both data and control connections are made by the client, so it should be allowed. Is the allowed ports…

I was actually talking about the storm on the switch. But you can check the interface statistics under MANAGE | Network | Interfaces to see if it looks extremely high for X0. Thanks!

Hello @Paul_Celin75, Welcome to SonicWall Community. So, the FTPS server is behind the SonicWall and a computer from outside is unable to talk to it? Could you please make sure that the port forwarding is done correctly as per the KB article below Also, the packet that is being dropped, is it the SYN packet or just some…

@brunogabriel, I wanted to remove the switch from the network to eliminate such issues. Is it possible that there is some kind of multicast/broadcast storm going on the LAN switch? Were you not able to test with directly connecting to the SonicWall? Thanks!

Michael@BWC, It's actually more useful for the unnecessary access rules and NAT policies. But, glad that this one is sorted out! Thanks!

Hello @Darshil, You can choose between option 1 and 2. The 40GB deployment is for demo purposes. The installation would depend on the kind of resources available in the Virtual environment and how much you can spare for GMS. You can refer to this Getting started guide for all system requirements. I am also going to change…

Michael@BWC, Since 6.5.3.x, enable IPv6 is a global option under Manage | Appliance | Base settings -> 'Enable IPv6'. If you are not using IPv6 on the firewall, I would suggest keeping this option disabled. I have been in those situations a few times now 😄. So as soon as you mentioned that error, could recall what it might…
