@RedNet, Yes, we had similar restrictions for X1 interface for quite some time. But I think that was for Gen 5 and Gen 6 on 6.2.x versions. Since 6.5, other than X0 interface, all others are free to be unassigned and configured on any available zones. Thanks!

@Corners, Yes, I agree with Michael@BWC. The only other thing I can suggest is raising an RFE (Request for feature enhancement) through Sales. I do not see any RFE in place at the moment for this feature. If possible, it can be added to the upcoming firmwares. Thanks!

Hey Michael@BWC, Could you please check if X1 is a part of IPv6 default LB group? That could be the reason of this error. Thanks!

Hello @HCECENES_93, Please refer to this KB article below. Thanks!

@Larry, I have seen that but it had worked for me from a different browser. Could you please try with a different browser? Thanks!

Hello @Darshil, It looks like these rules are created for some custom zone CCTV. Is that zone still in use? Also, does it not give you an option to delete these or errors out? Thanks!

Hello @Corners, Yes, you are right. SonicWall does not support EoIP or L2VPN between two SonicWall devices. We can set up IPSec VPNs between two sites, also set this in route mode. But, unfortunately EoIP between two sites will not be possible. Thanks!

You can either stay in the general release branch 6.5.1.5 or go to the latest maintenance release 6.5.4.6. There are lot of enhancements on 6.5.4.6, so I would suggest that. Please go through the release notes for all necessary details. Thanks!

Hello @Larry, This was a reported issue a while ago for GMS 8.4. I see a few cases like this where it got resolved after synchronization by the backend team regarding licenses. You can mention about DTS# 195005 so that support knows what we are dealing with. Unfortunately, it is more of a sync issue which only support can…

No problem. Glad I could help!

No, unfortunately 3g/4g dongle is not supported in HA environment. There is no way to failback as they are separate hardware. Thanks!
-
Sure, let us know how it goes. Thanks!

Hello @Ninad94, Not all 3G/4G dongles are supported with SonicWall. Since I see the name as Jio, could you please check the supported list below and make sure that the card that you are testing with is in the supported list. Also, moving this question to 'Entry level firewall' category for better results. Thanks!!

Hello @JimmyLittle, Could you please check if the Virtual adapter settings are done correctly as per the screenshot below. You can navigate to MANAGE | VPN | Settings and click on the configure option for WAN Group VPN and go to the client tab. Without this option the GVC adapter will not try to get an IP address from the…

@Kat_T0604, Welcome to SonicWall community. Yes, you certainly can. Please make sure that the Subnet A2 is a part of the existing VPN policy and you can see that subnet in the SA formed between the two sites. You can refer the KB below to add subnet A2 to the existing VPN. Thanks!!
