  • Hello @yda, Could you please upgrade the firmware to 6.5.4.6-79n and then check if the issue still persists? If yes, you can contact out support team and they will inform the same to engineering so that we can get it fixed for you. Thanks!
  • Hello @xdmfanboy, All of them are wonderful suggestions. 1) I usually use the TSR of the firewall and make a list of the exclusions as a TXT file and then just paste all the contents while adding the same exclusions on a different firewall. But, I know it would be easier if there is an import option as available for CFS…
  • Hey @Roger12345, That's amazing news. Would you like to share what changes to the DC fixed the issue? It might help @CFT as he is having the same problem. Thank you!
  • Hello @yda, Welcome to SonicWall community. Could you please try the following: 1) Try from some other browser 2) Try from a different computer 3) Check if the CPU of the firewall is very high like 90-100%. 4) Upgrade to the latest firmware version if not already there. Let us know if that helps! Thanks!
  • Hello @ittech99, Welcome to SonicWall community. As far as I understand this seems to be an OS level error as there were a lot of security enhancements done on Windows 10. What firmware are you using on the firewall and what model is it? ActiveX and Java were old plugins that we used to support which have become obsolete…
  • @Ninad94, Could you please verify that the phase 1 and phase 2 lifetimes are matching on both ends? Also, are you having one or two VPNs with failover? Since you are seeing the packets being consumed, just check the statistics on the SA itself and see if the transmitted packets are bytes are increasing. If yes, then the…
  • @daniel_lilja, That's right. We are moving to a Linux based OS for Gen 7 devices. So, we need to check if this can be done for them? Gen 6 and 6.5 have OS limitations due to which this cannot be achieved. Thanks!
  • If you do not have any Mobile Connect users from Android devices, I would suggest upgrading to 6.5.4.6-79n and then test it. If that does not help, we definitely need some real-time troubleshooting while a user is changing the password to find out what could be going wrong. Thanks!
  • Hello @vishmay_panchasara, Welcome to SonicWall community. Could you please let us know the firmware version of the firewall? We have made a lot of DPI SSL related improvements on the latest release 6.5.4.6 - 79n. If you are not already on it, could you please use the KB below and upgrade to it? Thanks!
  • Thanks for bringing this up @daniel_lilja. I have been asked the same question a lot of times. I have filed this as a request for the upcoming firewalls. I will keep you posted on how it goes. Thanks for all your help @fmadia.
  • Hello @daniel_lilja, Yes, you are right. On the GUI, we have an option to save a custom log setting and import it anytime on the same firewall. But, the option of exporting that setting and importing on other firewalls is not available. Let me check for the possibility of the same using CLI or API. I will keep you posted.…
  • Hello @amarvulli, Welcome to SonicWall community. Since you mentioned that you have already looked through the KB articles, there are two things that I would suggest. Please make sure that you are on the latest firmware version 6.5.4.6 and the NetExtender client is also upto date. This is because I have seen similar issues…
  • Adding @RuheeSafiya from ES team for further help.
  • @CFT, So, just to clarify, are you connecting using the NetExtender to the SMA or the TZ 400? Thanks!
  • Perfect. Thanks for sharing.
