You haven't mentioned the Sonicwall locking up / rebooting itself when the internet is lost. If that is happening then you may be affected by a vulnerability (but very unlikely if this happening on different models / hardware). Can you get a different provider?

I have seen where a large amount of traffic will 'overload' a cable modem and cause it to reboot itself. This was a a few years ago with an Arris brand modem I believe. It took much effort to get the cable company to admit the issue. Have you tried / requested a completely different brand of modem?

What firmware version are you running? I believe 6.5.4.3 or similar had this issue and was fixed in 6.5.4.6. Read the release notes.

ah yes, you failed to mention you had voip phones in your environment... youll likely need to keep the switchport in question on VLAN1 but also tag VLAN301 on it (aka making the port a 'trunk'), and tell the phone to use VLAN301. do some more reading on the concepts. also helps to provide as much information in the first…

have you looked at any of the knowledgebase articles?

What are the logs telling you about the WAN link? Are you doing logical monitoring through HA / is HA being triggered?

@BWC Having the Dynamic Client Proposal settings different from the tunnels makes no difference. Was a thought.

Are the switches in a stack? If they aren't and using the same IP address you will run into connectivity issues.

Unfortunately you'll have to re-create the config on the Sonicwall. Consider it a learning experience.

scrolling works on my 2650 with ~260 address objects. running 6.5.3.4. using Firefox. The page will automatically load more objects when you scroll to the bottom of the list.

VLANs imply a single physical interface divided into logical subinterfaces. What does your topology look like? Multiple physical switchports to the multiple physical ports on the firewall? What does your switch config look like with regards to VLANs, trunks, and access ports?

Had a thought about the VPN issues. Running a 570 on R1262, no issues with the few VPN tunnels, BUT I do set the following to be inline with my tunnel configs. Network \ IPSec VPN \ Advanced \ IKEv2 Settings \ IKEv2 Dynamic Client Proposal.

Is there a way to make the firewall to force the reserved IP Address to the device no matter which interface it tries to connect to? No. DHCP depends on the interface. For clarity, are the interfaces you listed (1,5, & 8) subinterfaces of a physical interface, or each an individual physical interface? Read up on 802.1Q /…
