discussion there seems to indicate VPN tunnel issues with R1262

Do you have logs showing the interface is going down? Are you on the latest firmware? Have you tried putting another firewall on the modem and seeing if it loses connectivity? The TZ270 and 370 are known to be finicky.

There is an option in the IPSec tunnel configuration under Advanced to allow "Management via the SA". If you aren't using this than you won't get management access.

Youve failed to tell us many things, including into which device you are plugging in the Trendnet APs when trying to use them on the sonicwall. Are you just trying to use the APs on the LAN, not in a separate zone or VLAN? Do you have DHCP server running on the LAN? Plug your APs in to the switch, verify they receive an IP…

To me you have too many devices. What is the purpose of the Sonicwall if you are using the Peplink routers? The security services? Just based on the diagram you provided, I would make sure none of the Sonicwall's are NATting any traffic and let the Peplinks handle that. Then the Sonicwalls need to be aware of the other…

Price is always the case when it comes to OEM and branded parts. The long and short of it is if you need technical support from Sonicwall themselves they won't help you if you have an unsupported module. This goes for all major manufacturers. As far as technical reasons, there likely aren't many. Standards are written for…

Why are you managing the device through a phone browser? Thats your problem. Use a laptop.

Now that you mention the WAN I have experienced an issue similar. Have a TZ570 with 2x 1.5Mbps DSL lines and the local web UI is appallingly slow. I rarely manage it locally though because it's on NSM, BUT the two times I did I remember it being awful. This makes me believe that Gen7s are calling home wwaayyyyy more than…

So the reporting license we are paying for is useless at this point? Yay!

Not sure if the above is what you are referring to, or simply sending syslogs to the GMS server...

Gen 7s with the latest firmware 7.0.0.906 seem to be hit or miss. Im running a number of TZ570s that are stable, but aren't exactly up to par with the Gen5 / 6s they replaced in various aspects. Reports from other users on the forum of TZ370 / 270s make them sound like a mess even on the latest firmware. So it's not just…

Have you identified what DNS traffic is marked as suspicious (other than it being from Apple products) via packet capture? Is it mDNS / Bonjour? Is it just a large amount of DNS traffic? Do you allow DNS traffic out from any client?

My guess is that the HTML5 RDP client may have changed with the firmware and disabled printer redirection. I do not have experience with the HTML5 RDP client so I'm just throwing it out there. Wouldn't hurt to read the release notes on that firmware.

If the Zone has them 'enabled' they are ready to be applied to that Zone. You have to actually enable the security service before it starts working.

As long as it is running OS 6.5 or greater TOTP should be available for the admin account.
