The new interface is not designed/configured for keyboard navigation. Keyboard navigation used to be essential, now it seems to be an after thought. How would one navigate to a mouse-over edit button using a keyboard?

Color me embarrassed. I should've checked the client settings... But still, the fact that your laptop is going to sleep is half the issue. When a computer sleeps it loses all connectivity, thus dropping the netextender connection. Even if the admin extended the user timeout, if you come back past the timeout period you…

No.

As long as the second ISP interface is in the WAN zone and SSLVPN is enabled on the WAN zone the Sonicwall will automatically open the required ports on the interface. The big question is if the second ISP is actually providing you a bridged interface (they are providing you a clean handoff), or if they are running a…

You have to factory reset. FYI if you set a user as a Full Admin, you have to enable 'allow user logins' on the interface you are trying to login to.

Are you talking about site to site VPN, GlobalVPN, or SSLVPN? Site to site policies are bound to the WAN zone for outbound traffic by default, meaning a device will initiate a tunnel over any available WAN interface. Site to site policies can be configured with multiple gateway addresses to connect to, meaning the device…

Might be a bug in Gen7. I'd change the account password to something relatively simple and try again (a.k.a. basic troubleshooting). Some parts of Gen7 do not like special characters in fields. If you don't succeed open a ticket with support.

Resolution requirements for webpages reminds me of the pre-2000s web. I don't struggle with this as much as others, but the fact that the UX designers / programmers can't scale the interface is shameful.

Is the gmail account configured for 'Less secure apps'?

The quick answer is yes, the TZ350 is more than capable of what (I think) you are asking. But so are consumer 'routers'.

If your modem is not in bridge mode (or at very least have the firewall disabled) than you will not be able to get to services offered by your Sonicwall.

Its just like programming. First define the object you are using as a reference. Address Object: Name: Phone LAN; Zone: LAN; Type: Network; Network address: 172.168.1.0; Mask: 255.255.255.0 Second define how to route traffic to/from said object. Route Policy: Name: Any to Phone LAN; Source: Any; Destination: 'Phone LAN'…

I will jump in and just say, don't sweat trying to figure out WHY someone did something. Understanding HOW it works is more important. If you want to put in some thought, determine what would be the BEST AND MOST LOGICAL way to do what is trying to be accomplished. Then maybe you can make it project and actually implement…

I can confirm poor performance of the managment UI in a low internet bandwidth environment. Even when managing locally. TZ570 on 7.0.0 R9XX. I do wonder, if the firewall has internet it will try to pull things from Sonicwall's servers. Cause when managing locally without internet there aren't any delays.
