Go by firmware release dates. If 6.2.7.1 was released after 6.5.1.1, then I'd upgrade your 2650 to a newer version. Basically get the 2600 to a firmware released a couple releases before your 2650 firmware, then make the jump to a new sub-version on the 2600, then match firmware levels. Careful when transferring settings,…

@Robbert I would open a ticket with support regarding your issue. It'll be a bit of a pain working with them, but they should be made aware of it.

Maybe it worth mentioning to @EnaBev

Are you using DPI-SSL? If not you're missing 80% or more of your traffic...
-
Yes I failed to mention that.

Ah NSM... Considering I haven't even logged in to it since the last Sonicwall deployment I did in August, and Larrys latest update, I'll stand by what I said in my last post. "For 'small' setups it's probably useless. For MSPs or medium to large helpdesks it can be very useful compared to direct management." Note I didn't…

Quick follow up: No issues so far. RAM usage has been much more stable around 35% as opposed to starting at 40% and steadily rising. This is with full security services license and DPI-SSL on.

@MitatOnge where did you find those? Referring to this thread even the referenced KB doesnt have it... https://community.sonicwall.com/technology-and-support/discussion/comment/7594

I bit the bullet and upgraded during the lunch hour yesterday. I will wait a couple more days for my findings as coincidentally our security services licenses expired and the results Im seeing may be because of that, rather than the firmware change. Once the license gets reapplied I will provide additional insight. For now…

Please provide more information including the firmware version you are running and sanitized VPN configs...

Downgrade the firmware to the previous version; add the user to a group with TOTP enabled rather than enabling TOTP on the user; factory default and re-setup the unit...

This is why I always make a second admin-level user.

I usually find the Known Issues section more helpful than the fixes. GEN7-29058 A wildcard FQDN object will not resolve subdomains unless a www FQDN object is also created. No wonder my wildcard AOs are hit or miss.... Will have to implement the workaround. I'll be upgrading to this tonight and update the thread. Thanks…

What else have you tried so we don't overlap suggestions...

@lostbackups Don't get me wrong I understand what you are trying to do and why. As @preston agreed this is not really do-able with a UTM device, but is possible with a SMA. The reason I made that comment is in a scenario where the users laptop is stolen, broken, etc. AND managed replacements not available, you wouldn't be…
