Are you saying this was received on the client side or the firewall side? Please provide us more detail.

AFAIK there is no way to prevent users from installing the NetExtender (or Mobile Connect) client on another PC and deny them the ability to login through it. It pretty much defeats the purpose of having SSL VPN access. You could go through a very obfuscated process of setting up a Dynamic DNS service for the users…

Ill try to answer your second question. A "WAN" address object likely refers to ANY interface assigned to the WAN zone (as you can have multiple for failover, etc.). A "WAN(X1)" address object refers to the specific interface (X1) that is in the WAN zone. Issues like you are describing are why I never recommend using the…

That being said, the 270 is a very weak unit (personally I'd say weaker than the 300) and may be part of the issue. Are you running the latest firmwares? What encryption settings are you using? You haven't provided us much…

Are you sure the ping scan is going over the tunnel? What subnets are you using? Have you tried a different ping scan product (e.g. Angry IP Scanner)?

Try Sonicwall Mobile Connect from the store...

At this point your best option is to open a ticket with support. We are only community members providing the best help we can, we are not Sonicwall.

Have you considered adding exceptions for the Mitel phone system IP itself?

Is this the first time your deploying 'remote' devices on the phone system? Have you read and tried any of the troubleshooting docs? Do you have flood protection on?
