@Reventus , have you checked if the FTP traffic is also going through the home-to-office VPN connection?
-
True with your point @BWC , SFTP != FTPS. I've corrected my comment to avoid confusion.

Although there are multiple solutions available for this problem, but I like the idea of configuring VLANs and multiple SSID broadcasts. This will also expand the wireless coverage when using multiple access points.

@Reventus , please check the following KB article if that describes your current setup. In this scenario the FTP Server is on the internet, it is in Active Mode and the FTP Client is behind the firewall. This requires the configuration of the FTP Transformation. If the access to the FTP server is only allowed from your…

@XCS , I would suggest to analyze the flow by capturing the ICMP packets with the Packet Monitor. It is strange to see "8.8.8.8 [0.0.0.1] is not responding".

This issue has been already reported to our engineering team and they are in the process of fixing the Migration Tool. We can still help with this specific migration (Source TZ350/TZ350W) once you create a web case and reference DEVT-2986.

@greg_incon , for the active SSLVPN connections you can access the info on the following page. For historical data the only option is to use the Log Events, given that the Log Settings are properly configured. Also, you have to keep in mind that the memory space for the Log Events displayed on the GUI is limited. When new…

@Norsmith , you will find your answers in the following KB article.

Hey @Norsmith I believe you have two options. The first option is to route the internal traffic on the switch itself, which means the inter-VLAN traffic will not reach the firewall, but if they need to access the Internet still a static route will be required on the firewall. The second option is to route all the traffic…

That's correct @ipatel

If your ISP box is in bridge mode, then you should be able to access your firewall with the public IP address. You should do packet capture on Packet Monitor tool to trace the incoming traffic.

You can do that with APIs for sure. If you write your code in a scalable way, it is just a repetition of the same calls to different firewalls in a loop. Let me give you an example. The following is a resent small utility that I wrote to ADD, DELETE, UPDATE Address Objects and Service Objects. If I want to deploy the same…

@Overflow2021 Does the API provide management commands that are not found in CLI management? I was expecting you to say CLI because the same commands work on 6/7. The SonicWall CLI options are very comprehensive and from the functional perspective you can fully manage the firewall via the CLI commands as you can do via the…

Hey @ipatel Please have a look into the following KB which explains the setup of a site to site VPN in Aggressive Mode where one site (Site A) has a public IP and the other site (Site B) does not. Also, as @Overflow2021 indicated, to use public IP on Site B, you need to configure your ISP Modem/Router in pass-through mode…

Hey @Norsmith , short answer is yes. You need to add static route(s) on your firewall. The following KB article may give you some more insight.
