@Micah - my dissatisfaction level with SonicWall and Support has skyrocketed this morning. The call was eventually picked up at 60 minutes. Waiting while CSR found out information took another 25 minutes - only to learn the technician who owns the call has been out for the past 5 days (it's a pandemic, I get it; but…

Just by way of an update, the case is in "Waiting on Engineering" status. Following several discussions with NSM project managers, the entire sync process is going to be reviewed, and hopefully be revamped in a future release. I pointed out that there's no telling exactly what discrepancies exist (the compare is awful) and…

As I pointed out to two members of the NSM team earlier today, a good place to find out if there is an issue with your product on the SonicWall side is to check https://status.sonicwall.com/ I've requested they add NSM because it has been slow since the 2.3.1 release because of a database load balancing problem. Would have…

Rough guess - your DHCP range (172.20.7.15 - 172.20.7.20) is inconsistent with the subnet (255.255.255.224) that you've provided. Try making the range 172.20.7.2 - 172.20.7.30 and see if it floats.

@EnaBev - welcome to SonicWall!

@ASCChuck - might want to remove the "this question was answered" flag if it is not applicable...

It is 86 degrees (30 C) outside, so I don't feel like pulling out wires and running the device around if it isn't going to do anything. Instead, I spent an hour in a remote session with CSR on this. He took assiduous notes and transferred over lots of files. I showed him the environmental layout using the built-in WNM WiFi…

NSM Version 2.3.1-R7 is now live and a number of the promised fixes have not appeared. In fact, for the above mentioned case, 43721888, I have discovered a new twist to this problem. Time range: 24 hours - Number of records shown: 21 Click on Export, click on Export to CSV, click on Confirm and a little wheel spins, then…

Obviously that's news to me, thanks. @Micah who is now in charge of WNM? (And if the user ID is no longer valid, why is the hyperlink active?)

@Sohrab what's going on regarding a solution to this problem? It's been 5 months since originally posted.

If you use DigiCert, here's a link to their documentation: Hope that helps.

I got the following screenshot from a SonicWall University class on working with WNM. Missing, of course, is the fact that the devices have to be added to your MySonicWall account and transferred to the appropriate Tenant under which these WNM settings are established. Hope it helps!

I have no "skin in the game" for Gen 7 devices for at least another year or two, but this is an interesting post. Engineering found a flaw that was identified by a member of the SonicWall community by way of a Support Case, but highlighted in a public posting. I think a key discussion point should be: How did this flaw…

If you think this is going to be a problem SonicWall will take a long time to identify and fix, my suggestion is to use a "belt and suspenders approach" to resolving this. There is a company call Isoolate with a similarly named browser extension that provides internet security that you can fine tune along the same lines as…

@ChristianP and @EF999 It has been a month - could you please update status on either support's conclusion or remediation for this issue? Thanks! Larry
