@CDolan_Orlando I just tried the tool in Firefox (latest) using an old TZ600 exp file from a client site and got this: As @Marco Octavian mentioned previously, there is no "firewall" drop-down on the page. My recommendation: delete the current configuration (exp) file and create a new one. Use that one in the tool and let…

@Marco Octavian I opened case 43761443 for this. I was called earlier this week and was told that this will appear in a future update to MySonicWall, although not the next one. Apparently the list is built in the order in which the Tenants are created. Why someone thought that was appropriate during the design phase is…

@GMP Sorry I didn't include the full SOP for the manual migration earlier. But - for anyone else that is interested in spending an hour, rather than waiting for SonicWall - here you go.

@NSA2650 These are most likely "honeypot" files created by SentinelOne. They are monitored by S1 and if they are changed in anyway (delete/encrypted), it is likely due to a malware or ransomware attack. I believe they previously used the afterSentDocuments folder in My Documents, but moved to a more inconspicuous location…

For the sites where DPI/SSL is enabled, and the documentation followed to the letter, I sometimes get calls from my clients about things not work. And that's what exceptions are all about. I'll create the necessary override and let things work for the client after explaining - once again - why I am protecting them. It is…

@lostbackups I'm going to take a stab at this. Yes, you want it on for "almost everything" and the way you have it set in your examples are good. The key to IPS is how you've set the IPS Global settings themselves. My TZ appliance looks like this: I have not configured any settings behind the Configure button. As an MSP I…

Brand new TZ350W with 6.5.4.8-89n is exhibiting this problem. Guess it will be necessary to waste some time on a support call...
-
Actually, I called support and the CSR downloaded it on her end and transferred it to my laptop. There were multiple IP locations flagged and I simply didn't have the time - or the patience - to figure out which one(s) I really needed to whitelist.
-
Well, I have a brand new TZ350W and I cannot download the latest 89n.sig file - the session times out. It seems GeoBlocking played a factor in this. Why the file has to come from NTT in Japan, when I'm logged into an ISP that is based outside of NYC, is beyond my comprehension.

@GMP - curious as to what license you have for the device. I learned (the hard way) that if you have an NSM license, you do NOT want to add a device to CSCMA. You must create a new NSM tenant. Otherwise, I'm afraid you are off to an extended support session...

@GMP My SOP (and it is dated because I have manually migrated everything to NSM) has reference to the following two SW KBs: https://www.sonicwall.com/support/knowledge-base/troubleshooting-unit-acquisition-in-capture-security-center-csc/180820203752765/…

@Chris_has_questions you should select the "Uploaded Firmware" option. This will use your device's current settings. Good luck!

And let me conclude this with two things. The second call resolved the AP problem. It involved removing the device from the location, connecting it to the local LAN, updating the firmware, and re-installing it. Problem resolved (6.5 hours total), case to be closed. However, the issue of this thread is the atrocious aspect…

@EnaBev - I wrote to my channel account manager and she got the matter escalated yesterday. A lead called me and he worked, without resolution, for another 30 minutes. We're slated to get further today with a follow-up call.

@Ajishlal - I have NO idea, and it is LUDICROUS to have only two options for email alerts: Guess it's time to open a few more support cases...
