You have said, repeatedly, this just started 8 months ago and the only thing that change on my end was a SonicWALL firmware update. So why - in all this time - haven't you reverted to the previous version to test your suspicion?

@AGSonicWall looks like the problem with the upload is fixed. Thanks @EnaBev !

Huntress Labs has provided a tool to help you identify instances: We’ve created a tool to help you test whether your applications are vulnerable to CVE-2021-44228. You can access the tool here: https://log4shell.huntress.com/ Click here to learn more—and huge thanks to Jason Slagle and our own Caleb Stewart and John…

@EnaBev I just did as you requested and in Firefox (my default) it fails. It also fails in Private mode. It also fails in Chrome. Respectfully, this is a SonicWall back-end problem. And I, for one, am not going to engage in a pointless conversation with a CSR who is going to think there's an issue with my TZ250W - because,…

Confirmed. @EnaBev or @Micah can you please escalate to the appropriate group?

Yes, it has antennas to do just that.

@philipsdj In some cases you can access the ISP's modem/router via 192.168.1.1 to work with some functions. However, you'd have to reach out to your ISP to find out the specifics regarding Bridge mode. Let's clarify one thing: the "W" models have built-in Wi-Fi controls for Access Points. You use the SonicWall dashboard to…

@philipsdj if you take a look here you'll see the TZ line of SonicWall firewalls. The models that end in "W" handle both wired and wireless environments. SonicWall would prefer that you disable Wi-Fi in your ISP's modem/router and ask them to put the internet in Bridge mode. That way you get to control everything via the…

@bfdonn some questions for you: If you use a different browser do you get the same result? In your default browser, if you delete the cookies specifically from the SonicWall University site, do you get a different message?

Stepping into the middle of this mess because I'm aggravated about your experience, @MarcelK If you would be willing to provide your support case number(s) to @EnaBev that would certainly help. In another thread I indicated that when I first heard about the Gen 7 devices I said I was going to wait at least 2 years until…

@EnaBev could you please ask someone to take a closer look at this? Thanks!

@ALB_inPT if it is truly not been activated - you can see that directly in the Request History - you can "force" the change in status by simply clicking Add Comment to the case directly in MySonicWall.

The same documentation states, "Services monitored by this LED: Gateway Anti-Virus, Intrusion Prevention, Anti-Spyware." Are all three licensed via the Essential or Advanced subscription? You didn't indicate your configuration settings.

I have a TZ250 that I learned recently reboots weekly and was told of this KB article https://www.sonicwall.com/support/knowledge-base/obtaining-diagnostic-logs-when-firewall-is-freezing/181109052342334/ @ALB_inPT if you still have your device and need to get to the logs, walk through this while the unit is working. It is…

@Enzino78 according to this document https://www.sonicwall.com/techdocs/pdf/nsm-reporting_and_analytics.pdf you open NSM, click on the Firewall in the center section of the Dashboard, then click on the Firewall name. On the resulting page, click the Summary tab and VPN is supposed to be one of the widgets.
