  • @Johnny - log into your SonicWall University portal. Click on the Certifications tab at the top of the page. Select Instructor-led Training option. Use the filters on the left-hand side menu to access the appropriate course schedule listing.

  • I believe you should go back to the original 192.168.168.168 format from the original settings.
  • @BobWHill - You need to get to your MySonicWall Account to get the Maintenance Key. This should help:
  • Because my TZ only has two month's left on its AGSS license lifespan, I installed 93n earlier today. It was quite interesting to see the differences NSM pointed out as I synced up afterward. This comparison was between the 92n hot fix configuration and the new 93n configuration. (Still wishing/hoping for NSM to be able to…
  • @philipsdj - could you please answer one key question: What are you trying to accomplish? Start with the goal, because the answers you've been getting are all over the place and may - or may not - be helpful. But no one here knows what it is you are trying to achieve. (It was asked in the very first post, but was ignored.)
  • @CMac - just want to point out there are two discussions about this. This one is for 6.5.4.8-89n. The other one is for 6.5.4.9-92n: https://community.sonicwall.com/technology-and-support/discussion/3426/gen6-cloud-backup-broken-in-6-5-4-9 For edification: The only way 89n (or 83n) works is to delete the existing 2021 cloud…
  • Best article to review and walk through to solve your problems:
  • @AKAKilroy - the short answer is: NO! DO NOT import the Gen 6.x configuration into your Gen 7.x device. Period. Yes, you can (some say should) use the Migration Tool. Others say to rebuild the device manually. Another alternative is to create a Template of your existing TZ470 in NSM and use that on the new device - and…
  • @Rex Are you running the Migration tool from within MySonicWall or from the URL? I just ran this in Firefox from the URL (https://migratetool.global.sonicwall.com/) and it provided the appropriately sized output file. Suggest you try an alternate browser and go direct. Post your results.
  • @MitatOnge I appreciate an outline of the basics, of which I am well versed. This is an issue specific to the SonicWall site involved. To get around the problem - not solve it, mind you - I've created an Address Object with the FQDN and an Address Group for DPI-SSL Exclusions that is included in the Objects tab of your…
  • I can confirm for 6.5.4.8-89n and for 6.5.4.7-83n, if you delete ALL cloud backups from 2021, they will automatically resume in 2022. If you have made MANUAL cloud backups in either year, they do not need to be deleted for this miracle to occur.
  • If you are attempting this under the MySonicWall - Tools - Migration Tool option I think there might be a problem. Go to https://migratetool.global.sonicwall.com/ and try it there. It did take some time just now - longer than usual - for an upload to complete, but it worked for me.
  • The TZ400 is not listed on the EOL page: And when you say you can't find the security suite available, where - exactly - are you looking? I'm asking because the TZ400 subscriptions are included in the January 2022 North American Partner Price list.
  • Well that is some investigative prowess right there! if you remove all the cloud backups from Year 2021 the cloud backs resume and they seem to be rolling the oldest out after the 3 allowed. Support only offered limited suggestions - mostly the push to go 92n-hot-fix. I'm going to test this on a specific client device to…
  • @Ajishlal - I got the email today about the new WNM 3.7.8 and there was a link to download the Release Notes. That ended up going nowhere. @EnaBev if you have ANY pull, please get the folks who produce those emails to differentiate between physical and cloud-based products. You can't pull down the information about WNM if…
