  • @MitatOnge appreciate the response; however, it is not at all applicable to the current situation. And I'm certainly not going to add another SonicWall device that has had a slew of problems as a "solution" to this.
  • @LitBobOn nope, not gonna happen. It took me quite a while before the project management team issued an email to engage with me about NSM. I had biweekly meetings with them during the summer of 2021. The basic problem is, the front-line folks don't really know what they need to provide to the back-end teams to qualify a…
  • The thing is, sometimes I becomeTHAT person when dealing with a CSR. Every once in a while (and you can go to the recordings), this other Larry comes out that is so vicious and insistent and LOUD about how support has to handle a case that it is scary. Yes, they don't always know what's going on - especially with NSM.…
  • @Enzino78 with nsm-uswest.sonicwall.com it is hit or miss (especially once I go past 30 days), but the data does seem to appear.
  • I haven't gotten that far with my TZ270 set up yet. Not looking forward to it after a comment like that - and I've had my share of Support Cases for the 6.5 CTA report...
  • Looking for the same as there are altogether too many address objects to retype when migrating from Gen 6.5 to Gen 7 devices. What I found was this KB: Oddly enough, while it starts and shows the Swagger page, it immediately veers off to use Postman for all of the detailed steps. So is that the official SonicWall position?…
  • Sorry, my bad - I didn't read closely. 5.9.2-13 was the final release for Gen 5 devices. There is no "6" firmware level for your device.
  • OK, @Maui - first things first. In MySonicWall, go to the Download center, and get the latest firmware for your SOHO. This is 6.5.4.9-93n. Second, update your SOHO to that firmware level BEFORE you export the file for the migration tool. Third, don't use the Migration Tool within MySonicWall. Go to…
  • @SonicAdmin80 - I am sorry you had to go through a mess like this. I don't deal with HA, but I am frequently involved in chastising SonicWall about its documentation. At the bottom of every KB article is a question: Was This Article Helpful? Please respond accordingly and document what was wrong with each. The team does…
  • @Thomas_Buergis - I'm using 6.5.4 to try to extract all Address Objects in preparation for a migration to Gen7. I was unsuccessful at getting any sort of response from Swagger without the 2FA code. Having gotten that far, I received "TypeError: NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource." and sent an email to SonicWall…
  • @shiprasahu93 something must have reverted. First time I am attempting to use this functionality and here's what I get:
  • @BWC - Hmmm, maybe that's what they mean when they use the word "boundless."
  • That "network error" I've learned is because the device switched from the 192.168.168.168 to the IP address of your original firewall. You have to remove the "static" IP you have on your laptop/desktop connected to the firewall to resume normal activity. If that doesn't work, then you'll have to go to Safe Mode (along with…
  • Coming back to this discussion in February 2022. (And posted in the Partners community earlier today.) NSM is now on Version 2.3.3-Hotfix 1 (imagine, a hotfix for a cloud product!). Support cases I opened throughout 2021 are still being worked on with no end in sight. This, despite having biweekly meetings with NSM project…
  • I just ran one and it worked just fine in Firefox (250W to 270W). Last ditch effort before contacting Support: clear browser cache, close all instances, and try again. Keep us posted...
