  • One suggestion to check. Go to Policy, Security Services, and look under the "Enhanced Security" heading. If the value for Enhanced Security is on, turn it off, Accept the change, and re-try your tests.
  • @Darshan - please edit your post!
  • @ThK - looks like the interface in NSM for this page is still Gen 6.5 version and not Gen 7. Perhaps it is on the road map for a future update/release. Supposedly 2.3.3-4 will be available some time in April - check the release notes when available.
  • What you are describing is how it works. What I am saying is that it is not how "normal" windows work - even in browsers. "Once we remove WAN or LAN from LAN assignment using backspace" is NOT "expected" behavior, it is abnormal processing. Having a cursor appear after the value in a drop-down list is not normal…
  • Resurrecting this post on March 11, 2022, because I just experienced this rather shocking incident with a Gen 7 TZ270W this morning. My RMM software has an "agent health check" routine that reviews the files that are on the client computer and compares them to a current list in the cloud. It then packages the changed DLLs…
  • I love the chutzpah involved in charging a fee to downgrade a license. Leon, sorry to say, the list price is over $1K.
  • My new Gen 7 resolution is to log a support case as soon as I encounter a problem with this "thing." Not that I expect a resolution any time soon, but I want the problems documented. In this instance: 43910689.
  • @works2020 - according to the guide: 10. If the migration process fails, contact Technical Support. 11. If the migration is successful, you will receive Migration was successful message. CSC is migrated to Network Security Manage Did you get the "successful" email? Either way, if you are getting that message it is time to…
  • @johnbor - not necessarily. My log shows that my GAV subscription is blocking this file. I don't use Capture Client. However, I have SentinelOne Vigilence subscription through an MSSP and I'm running a deep scan now. But honestly, there isn't anything ON my computer. That's because SonicWall is effectively blocking it. But…
  • @sbrantl - as @Ajishlal frequently points out, your starting location is here: Your supposition is correct - not supported, too old.
  • @johnbor I'm stumped, because this is ALL that SonicWall provides regarding the Insights widget: But I now believe that you cannot alter this directly. [Edited after more research] In my case, I had a Red Alert, Shields Up icon and found are over 500 instances: I took a look in the System Logs, which shows GAV doing what…
  • @RussF First thing I'd suggest is to get to 5050, because for all the faults, it does fix a bunch of things. Only you can answer whether any of the Known Issues will adversely affect your environment.
  • As emailed to another Community member the other day: Wow, Gen 7 and you have to duplicate all wildcard FQDNs Address Objects with "www" entries. Good thing they make that clone option - that is very helpful when creating a duplicate. What is NOT helpful - and is in fact STUPID BEYOND WORDS - is that when you hover over…
  • Michael - @BWC - yes, finally! One appeared on 03/02 at 03:04:12. Imagine, it only less than a (short) month to get this working again.
  • @vhduran - in the one case where I have SonicWaves connected to the firewall, I do not assign reserved IP addresses. However, to do that, I have always used Network - DHCP settings (not ARP), where I enter the Static IP address based on the MAC address of the AP. That way it can be populated in the correct Interface. For…
