  • Hi @stevmorr , it's probably because of some power settings which causes the shutdown to not power off. From my experience it is no problem to power off the appliance within VMware ... the one and only problem i had in the past was that the approved devices in Device Management got lost, maybe you should export them first,…
  • Hi @Gailand, thanks for the information, we closed the case #43271949 for now in an anticipation of a release of firmware 10.1 in the near future, which hopefully fixes this error. --Michael@BWC
  • Hi all, no problem, I already requested the trial licenses through my Territory Manager. I was just confused, but I can imagine that the easy option of having trials got abused somehow. --Michael@BWC
  • Hi @KaranM and @Chris, thanks for looking into this. I'am not 100% sure where this will take me, but it looks a bit unpredictable to me and I'am feeling not comfortable to tell my customers to wait how the numbers are falling before we figure out if we have an IP address conflict or not. It's not just the local interfaces,…
  • Hi @Halon5, well over the years I was in touch with a couple of guys, I can't recall, maybe because of the fact that 99% of my cases will be handled from India. It sounds that I should get in touch with him. --Michael@BWC
  • Hi @Halon5, ja 10.0.6 is looking good so far, no further trouble and hopefully some fixed DKIM flaws are gone, except the beloved segfaults of course :) But you lost me on GB recommendations, what is this about? --Michael@BWC
  • I would like to see this as well, or mark topics as partner/sonicwall-only to make them not publicly available. --Michael@BWC

  • Hi @Halon5 , thanks for the update, I just got the information on March 2nd that a bug got filed and the engineering team is on it. Hope it will get covered soon, because it causes some irritation for the endusers having lots of segfaults floating around on their VMware consoles. --Michael@BWC
  • Hi all, I don't have 2FA enabled on my account, but when logging into the community site a code got requested, I have to click resend code manually to get the code. Login to MySonicWall is working with username/password only. Don't know if this is by design. --Michael@BWC
  • Hi all, it seems I wasn't mistaken and the LDAP packets I saw were real, happens only when adding a new DC. The latest Directory Services Connector 4.1.17 (released March 3rd 2020) marked this as fixed: The SSO Agent uses clear text LDAP packets when agent is trying to connect to a DC. Occurs when the user is adding a new…
  • Hi @Chris, did you got any information from your experts on that matter? Cheers. --Michael@BWC
  • Hi @brunogabriel , are you looking for a table containing the connections currently handled by the DPI-SSL proxy? IMHO there is nothing like that available. You can only gather some statistics, that's all you get at the moment: sonicwallFwDpiSslStats OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= {sonicwallFwStatsModule 5} sonicDpiSslConnCountCur…
  • That's weird ... I checked on my account and disabled and re-enabled everything ... I had to hit the refresh icon on the Notifications page and everything got listed again. If this or logging out and in again does not help, clearing the browser cache or trying another browser does not either I'am out of ideas. --Michael@BWC
  • Hi @Halon5, you can bring them back by changing back the alert settings Just follow these steps, it's german but I'am sure the icons are the same, just enable everything you need on the last screen. --Michael@BWC
  • Hi @Halon5, what Notifications you're looking for? You don't mean the Settings -> Notification Center by any chance, which is listing latest releases etc.? --Michael@BWC
