Hi @Halon5, thanks for checking ... good to not being alone :) --Michael@BWC

Hi all, just a side note, it seems that SentinelOne Threat Protection Engine 3.6.0 and 3.6.1 isn't compatible with macOS Sierra (10.12.6) anymore. Capture Client 2.0.27 is running fine, but TPE 3.4.2 is the last one working. Even the support team seems not to know this, which causes some frustration. It's time to say…

This issue seems to be fixed, I checked a few times yesterday but no luck. Today all seems back to normal again. Sadly no comment from the support. --Michael@BWC

Hi all, I can 2nd what @WNRG_BenDavis mentioned, having DPI-SSL and GAV enabled drops down the speed big times, in my case from 95 to around 60 Mbit in downstream. Upstream was even worse, from 40 Mbit to around 5 Mbit. But it seems that uploads are causing more trouble, because with Security Services disabled and just…

Addendum (because edit my post isn't working): To quote SentinelOne "Malware's Golden Key User Data". The Safari extension that got installed with Capture Client requests access to read data from ANY web site including password, phone numbers and credit card information, IF ENABLED. Just saying, a few explanatory words…

Hi @Bhavin_Naik, does this KB-article cover your question? --Michael@BWC

Hi @Karan1234, good to know, then I probably fooled myself somehow while doing the trace, maybe something else cause the LDAP lookup. Best regards. --Michael@BWC

Hi @Jason_Faiferlick, the TZ 400 is a 4 core appliance. I'am not 100% certain that with the latest SonicOS it is still the case, but the mentioned performance values on the datasheet showing the overall-performance. A single download (flow) is bound to one core, which means that the maximum speed to be expected is…

Thanks for bringing back the community @Chris and team, the good old SonicWall Forums were greatly missed for years.

Hi Bill, I'am running Directory Connector 4.1.10 on a W2K12 R2 Server and captured traffic from the Directory Connector process to my Domain Controller on Port 389. There is no specific configuration option how the SSOAgent is talking to the AD, maybe it's hardwired? --Michael@BWC

Found this KB article after posting my question but this does not cover Firewalls and/or Directory Connector. 😥 https://www.sonicwall.com/support/knowledge-base/impact-for-ldap-channel-binding-and-ldap-signing-requirements/200120020104096/

Hi @brunogabriel, I guess the Firewall rules are for LAN -> VPN? The related address objects are in the correct zones? Did you checked the routing policies that there is no conflicting route with a better priority? --Michael@BWC

Hi @brunogabriel , I'am managing all kinds of local and remote systems. Usually the speed on WAN managed systems is fine, except if there is not enough upstream bandwidth, then it totally sucks, but this is not a browser issue :) --Michael@BWC

Hi @Karan1234 , you cannot terminate a GRE tunnel on the SonicWall appliance if this what you looking for. But you can install a GRE tunnel endpoint (Mikrotik, Cisco, etc.) behind the SonicWall and go from there. BGP and OSPF is supported but I never worked with them. --Michael@BWC

And if the appliance is not physically close to you, just log into the Management and check unter Monitor -> System Status, when deploying a new appliance I'll never check with the tags. The System Status is especially useful if you have imported a configuration from a different machine, the S/N setting gets replaced with…
