The 6.5.4.5-79n seems to work better than the Beta -70n release, my first speedtests showing the following results: TZ 400, VDSL 100/40 Mbps with DPI-SSL enabled: 60/2-22 Mbps, 100% CPU Core 2-4 usage on download, 10-20% on upload with DPI-SSL disabled: 92/36 Mbps, 10-30% CPU Core 2-4 usage on download and upload It's all…

@PierreH I hope you like the color orange, if not you'll have a hard time with SonicOS 7.0 ... NSv beta invites are out, hopefully I'll find some time to install this week. I'am not quite sure what to think about what I saw in the accompanying documents, it looks very space-hogging to me and I'am not sure if my 34" monitor…

Support called right away (thumbs up), after 1 hour of checking this and that it seems it was related to a corrupt server.xml. The Policy Filter dialog is back to normal. One of these strange ESA problems, but hopefully resolved for good. UPDATE: I checked the old (corrupt) server.xml with the new one, and they are exactly…

Hi Shipra, well, finally someone who got my point :) Thanks for taking care of this, wasn't a big deal anyways. --Michael@BWC

The Support Team informed me today, that the problem could be identified by the Enginieering Team and they're working on a resolution. Keep my fingers crossed :) --Michael@BWC

Hi @Nevyaditha one of the things I'am wondering for years, is why a turn from primary to secondary (or vice versa) happened without any obvious reason. The log doesn't say much about it. All monitored links are up, all appliances are running. It's one of these questions I have to take a pass when asked from a customer. I…

Hi @MIKEBA, I don't recall it exactly, but I believe you have to use the pre-login snwlcli first, then you can log in with admin/password. Keep forgetting stuff, I'am getting old :) --Michael@BWC

Hi @shiprasahu93 found it ... so "Creating dynamic user groups based on Active Directory User Group names." actually means "Creating dynamic device groups based on Active Directory User Group names.". The AD "integration" is a bit rudimentary, is there some form of synchronistation planned for the future to make groups…

Hi, @SEBASTIAN got me researching again (was giving up on VPN monitoring). The problem with VPN monitoring via SNMP on SonicWalls is that VPN Policies are completly kicked out of the SNMP tree when not active for whatever reason. When the Tunnel comes back up, the OID will be different, because it gets a new…

Hi, Cacti is IMHO a bit limited for that, but sonicwallFwVpnIPSecStats is all what you've got VPN-wise. Check with SONICWALL-FIREWALL-IP-STATISTICS-MIB, sonicSAStatEncryptByteCount can be used for bandwith calculation. The subinterfaces (VLAN?) are in the interfaces section, like all the other Ethernet interfaces. Dunno…

Hi @SEBASTIAN I'am not sure, but I guess L2L stands for lan-to-lan, also known as Site-to-Site? AFAIK you can't monitor VPN connections via SNMP, a feature I really myself as a ZABBIX fan. There are some entities, but IMHO not usable for dynamic monitoring. UPDATE: if you know all of your VPN tunnels (no dynamic discovery)…

Haha, I'am just showing off, don't take me seriously :)

Yeah, see the Hall of Fame, just sayin ;-)

FYI: A downgrade to a 10.2.0.0 system backup seems to resolve this issue, no more sessions from the SMA IP. It was working for the last 17 days, don't understand what was going on here. Forcing the logout of a session was causing the SMA to reboot.

Hi @davetapley maybe you can create another case and reference to #43407647 reporting that you see the same problems. Currently the support was asking for a english system, mine is running in german. But I don't think it's a locale issue, it seems that losing the connection to the backend causes trouble and CaptureClient…
