We cannot assign static DHCP entries to L2TP clients as we can with GVC clients. If you have just a single L2TP client, you can reduce the L2TP IP Pool to that specific IP and you should always get that IP address on the client. Otherwise, SonicWall will assign one of the IP addresses from the L2TP IP Pool. I would also…

Hello @marcdeblanck, Do you mean that the L2TP adapter of the client is assigned with the DHCP address assigned by DHCP server on LAN and not the L2TP IP Pool configured on the firewall? Also, are you seeing issues like not able to connect to the right resources or access to internet? Could you please refer to the KB below…

Hello @tfoster , Could you please tell what is the logging and alert level set to under Log | Settings page? Also, please select the logging level to Inform and try Resetting the log settings so that the Log Redundancy is set back to Defaults. You can do that as per the link below (You can try this if you haven't…

Hello @Rage, The error regarding Time while registering the TZ 100 could be due to old firmware (5.8.x.x). You can upgrade the firmware to 5.9.1.13 and test the registration again as mentioned by @Saravanan1990_V . I would just like to add that the TZ 100 is an EoL device where the last support date was 15th Nov 2017. You…

Hey @Rage , Yes, it should be X1 IP. Although, it's PPPoE and might change, SonicWall should use that for NATting outbound traffic. You can see rule number 8 doing the same for your LAN traffic. Please monitor and see how it goes.
-
Hello @Rage , I agree with @Nevyaditha. This NAT was suggested at the beginning of this post. I assumed you still had it. Could you please add it again and then test the connection? Thanks
-
Hello @Rage, Based on the packet capture, it looks like the packets are being forwarded but there is no response. The NAT policy that you added specific to this traffic, do you see any statistics on it? Does it show any usage count or tx,rx bytes? Thanks!
-
@Micah, That's amazing news! Looking forward to it.

Hello Michael@BWC, I agree with you on the search option though. Search option under a specific category will be really helpful!!
-
Hey Michael@BWC, I would suggest going to https://www.sonicwall.com/support/knowledge-base/secure-mobile-access/ and then using the Filter By option as below But I understand that the search option on the top still resolves globally. At least this will give you better results. I hope that helps! Thanks

Hello @SamB, This is a troubleshooting option. It is not enabled by default. You can enable it on the rule for which you would like to perform the packet capture. So, please enable that check box on the Any, Any, Any rule and you can monitor which traffic is going through that specific generic rule. Thanks!
-
Hello @SamB, Feel free to use this KB below You can then capture the packets that are using that specific access rule at priority 10. I hope that helps!! Thanks

Looks like the CMC is now completely functional. The issue is resolved. Appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation with us on this.

We should be completely up and running at this point. Thanks for your patience!
