@BWC . Admin rights needed while we install SMAConnectAgent is required to upgrade, admin permission will be required again because we need to update registry settings each installation. so admin is needed for every time..

HI, This issue is fixed already with latest versions. We use the tool : WMIC to get the serial number, if you still have issues with 10.2.0.1 please open a support ticket, this sounds like an issue with Connect Agent.

10.2.0.0 has some issues and there were lot of bug fixes went in to 10.2.0.1, you try upgrade and if you still have issues open a support ticket will file a bug with engg.

Hello, If you're using CMS/SMA 12.2 this is end of life version and I would recommend to upgrade to 12.3 with latest hotfixes. if you still have issues open a support ticket..s

if you're using 12.3 we can export local users and import, it will not erase it . Take the configuration backup and then try to import CSV and see, make sure it should not be duplicate entries. CSV import is supported.

SMA210 and 410 will have more users connectivity from 10.0.0.5 and 9.0.0.7 and 10.2.0.1 onwards. SMA210 : Supports up to 210 CCU SMA410: Supports up to 400 CCU..

Sorry.. VMware tools we don't do much.. you can check with VMware in google and update it. If this is related and causing SMA, pls file an RFE..talk to sales and PM so that we can take a look..

Hello, Please file a support ticket and talk to sales to file an RFE, since this has to go via PM...support cannot go and make these changes. once its added QA has to validate across all the releases.
