It's unclear if your statement "I can’t seems to figure out how to change the interface and Static IP address." is referring to the Sonicwall firewall or the Sonicwave AP. Presumably the AP. IIRC (its been like 10 years since I used Sonicwaves) the Sonicwaves aren't configured individually, they obtain most of their…

What model Sonicwall are you using? What firmware version is it on? Provide us sanitized screenshots of both configs. Establishing a S2S VPN when NAT is involved is tricky. I usually rely on IKE identifiers other than 'IP address'. Sonicwalls also tend to view non-static IP address VPN endpoints as 'dynamic clients' and…

Is there a reason the Linksys is still in place? As I stated before, if your linksys is doing NAT and firewall than that is where your issue is. Try connecting a device directly to one of the Sonicwalls LAN ports (you may need to portsheild another interface to X0: ), then VPN in and attempt to connect to said device.

In all likelihood they are just utilizing a third party location database like MaxMind. MaxMind updates twice a week.

You should also be reporting these to support.

Using Gen 7 and staying on 7.0.1 firmwares.

Create an exception to DPISSL for the IP address of your client's Sonicwall WAN interface, then try again. It's possible Content Filter or SSL Control features of the Sonicwall you are behind could also affect the connection. Since you get the invalid cert message in your browser it seems the traffic is already passing.…

Show us a sanitized screenshot of your access rules?

I'd suggest opening a ticket with support.

So you are saying you are behind a Sonicwall with DPISSL Client enabled and enforced, and when you browse to the HTTPS management page of a DIFFERENT (or SAME) Sonicwall you end up with the CERT_INVALID result? Just trying to understand the situation.

Good to know QA hasn't improved. Some of these issues have happened on 7.0 updates in the past. They keep pushing the idea of automatic updates too…

Is your Access Rule from 'Wifi-guest' to 'LAN': any source, any destination, any service? Have you run a packet capture to see whats happening with the traffic?

As long as the Wyse is running an OS that Sonicwall has a VPN client for I don't see why you couldn't. E.g. Wyse is running Windows. You deploy NetExtender with a pre-set config. Users would login to NetExtender then connect via RDP or other client to the server.

What IPs are configured on the Sonicwall interfaces? The linksys? Are there any devices NOT 'behind' the linksys (behind the sonicwall only), if so, can you access them via VPN? is your linksys in its more or less default config where its acting as a router/NAT/firewall? If your linksys is doing NAT and firewall than thats…

What about the Client tab of the GroupVPN policy? And the access rules for the VPN?
