"This all started after a PLANNED power outage. Everything was shut off gracefully. No settings were changed." Are you sure all your configs were saved to the devices? It doesn't sound like it if you suddenly have issues after a planned outage and had to move some connections around. Did you run through troubleshooting the…

If you review the log / syslog when the failed login occurs, what is the priority of the corresponding entry? Is it 'alert' or other? Remember, when setting a syslog severity level, the set level is the highest level logged: any severity below the set level is logged as well, but any above is not logged

What DNS you use does not affect the content filter on the Sonicwall. Since Sonicwall's documentation is terrible here is a proper link to the CFS 4.0 overview. Give us more to work with, a brief overview of your network, some screenshots of your CFS config, etc.

Are you talking about the management interface or are you logging in due to content filter / other policies?

Based on the link you provided I suppose it's possible using a site to site VPN using 3rd party certificates and the 'Use this VPN…

Did you search the forum at all? IMO, you have two options. Use the Sonicwall as the firewall and setup a Unifi Network Controller server for maintaining the APs and switches, get rid of the UDM. Use the UDM as everything and get rid of the Sonicwall.

You havent explained what exactly you are trying to accomplish by editing the MSI.

Provide more information on your needs and current setup.

I have never heard of anyone doing this and must question why wouldn't you use Sonicwalls VPN client?
