  • Hi @TSG, Thank you for visiting SonicWall Community. For manual registration of SonicWall, did you get a chance to try the steps as suggested in the KB article below? Firmware version on the MySonicWall appears to be blank and could be because of MSW issues. Regarding the error, please try once later and check it.…
  • Hi @DJHURT1, To answer both the questions, the answer is Yes. Regarding the second one, I would suggest you to auto-provision SonicWaves for base setup. Once the auto-provisioning is done, disable the auto-provisioning and customize the AP's as needed. Please try this and this would work as you like.
  • Hi @JST3751, Thank you for visiting SonicWall Community. The USB modem list KB is there after testing the cards with firewall appliances officially. The cards that are not listed in the KB are not tested along with firewall appliances. Its that simple. IMO, to verify if the USB Verizon Global Modem USB730L is supported on…

  • Hi @Terry, Please take a look at the below web-link for load balancing differences. If I were at your place, I would select the load balancing type based on the ISP offered speed. For example, lets say X1 ISP offers 50 Mbps and X2 offers 100 Mbps. I'll have X1 to be 25% and X2 as 75% in Ratio based LB. Please let us know…
  • Hi @VILLALE, Thank you for visiting SonicWall Community. You were almost there in fixing the requirement. Please change the access rule with Destination to ANY from WAN Interface IP. WAN to LAN rule is not required in this case as we already deny all WAN to LAN traffics by default. Please try out and let me know.
  • Hi @pjhunter, Thanks for sharing the info. With GVC or SSLVPN connecting to the SonicWall firewall, one way traffic from client to server works good. The other way around may not work always and treated to be unsupported. The server to client traffic flow can work if you are using SSLVPN client and connecting to a SMA box.…
  • Hi @PJHUNTER, Thank you for visiting SonicWall Community. Are you connecting to the SonicWall firewall via SSLVPN client or connecting to any SMA appliance for SSLVPN access?
  • Hi @JUREMAZIC, Thank you for visiting SonicWall Community. Please find below answers to your questions. SonicWall Analytics is a new product for IPFIX / Flow/ Syslog (Analytics 2.5 and above) based reporting for all firewall models. SonicWall On-premise Analytics 2.5 is the replacement for Analyzer. However, as this is a…
  • Hi @MSYFLYER, Thank you for visiting SonicWall Community. I would say, you could purchase additional IP's from your ISP and perform port forwarding. This would be the efficient way of accomplishing the requirement of utilizing multiple internal resources using same ports for their availability. We call this port forwarding…
  • Hi @TERRY, Thank you for visiting SonicWall Community. As per your scenario, the X1 interface bandwidth is just used 1% and rest all traffics sent via X2 as it is used 99%. Please share your requirement for Load Balancing (LB) and can provide you with necessary suggestions on LB.
