@Saravanan I had already opened a support ticket #43590221 - USB Recovery Stick does not work but support just gave me the KB: which doesn't help.

@Saravanan No, just the console logs, it will keep retry and restart. USB already on MBR mode and FAT32 format. I wonder what I need to put inside the USB? I just put the firmware inside.

@Saravanan No, I had wiped the device. Safemode is not available. Attached the console logs

@BrookChelmo I have similar issue at earlier, I don't know is it a bug or something else. ATP inspect every JS script from internet. This make the file limit overloaded on few seconds. https://community.sonicwall.com/technology-and-support/discussion/1011/ability-to-exclude-extensions-on-atp#latest

SPI is for traditional stateful firewall. DPI is for next generation firewall which allow inspect on packet data portion. To adopt security service on sonicwall, eg. anti-virus, IPS, app rule...You will need DPI enable. Depends on your need but sonicwall will have DPI enabled by default.

@Viveks Yes it will become idle after 20 minutes but this is not a safe logout method. As I mentioned, it could be a potential security risk. Thanks, I got it. now it redirected to SMA1000 logoff page.

@Viveks I test the SMA 1000 IDP with SMA 100 as SP. SMA 100 SAML login, login page redirect to SMA 1000 as IDP, authenticated then return back to SMA 100 virtual office page. I found the SMA 1000 user is never logged out as we dont have logout url for the SAML. It means I logout from the SMA 100, without close and reopen…

SonicWall response updated

Hi @shiprasahu93 So there will be no 6.5.1.12 release? If we want to stay on 6.5.1.X, there will be no update?

I think you are looking for the device VPN feature. Device VPN provides VPN access to user devices when a user is not logged in. To enable this feature, choose which realm the Connect Tunnel client will connect to below. The realm must use a PKI (certificate) authentication server. Enable device access to critical network…

Are you using 6.5.4.6? https://www.sonicwall.com/support/knowledge-base/unable-to-access-local-resources-when-connected-using-mobile-connect-on-android-and-chromebook/200626012132597/

@Simon Thanks for clarification. One more thing, can sonicwall share how local SEM get the system values? Via Windows Management Instrumentation? Registry checking? window sc query? Cause we pretty sure client had SEM installed and click accept on Chrome when SEM prompts but it still fails and get into default Zone.

@Simon Here is the situation: Profile allow SEP = 14.2, signature update <=7 days , etc... 1st login via Chrome failed, user assign to default zone 2st login via IE, no problem, correct zone assigned. Or we can say, sometimes chrome can identify SEP, sometimes it cannot...As you said the evaluation is done by SMA…
