Hi @JCK There are multiple solutions for your requirement, and the following is one of it. Since both companies are on the same premise, you can create a point to point connection between the two firewalls. For a user in Company-A to be be able to communicate with the printer in Company-B, you need to add a Static Route on…

Until Mobile Connect becomes available (expected release date 09/18), alternatively the native L2TP service on the iOS platform can be utilized in conjunction with firewalls, if firmware update is not feasible on the Gen6 firewall or if a Gen5 device is being used. Please refer to the following KB article for the steps…

@Cat , Android users (Mobile Connect for Android platforms) are not affected with this issue.
-
Forgot to ask - What firewall model and firmware are you using?
-
I want to give an update that Mobile Connect 5.0.15 for iOS platforms, which will have the fix, is expected to be available on September 18, 2023. This is the current plan/timeline.
-
@gyalpo , which HTTP method did you use (i.e. POST, PUT, PATCH)? Also, which end point did you use?

I want to give an update that this (Mobile Connect 5.0.14) is affecting Gen5 and Gen6 devices running 6.5.4.0 or older firmware. The issue is not observed when used with Gen7 firewalls. We are closely working with our engineering team to get the timeline for the fixed version of Mobile Connect.

The issue is observed with Mobile Connect 5.0.14 when used in conjunction with Gen5, Gen6 and Gen7 firewalls, even with latest firmware versions. Our engineering team is working on the issue and and as a temporary measure the application has been pulled down from the App Store.

All; Thanks for bringing this to our attention. SonicWall Tech Support is working with our engineering team, to get this analyzed.

Yes, some of the Gen6 models will be end of life in2025 and the rest in 2026. Rather than waiting until the last minute, it might be a good idea to transition to Gen7 firewalls, which are more powerful (CPU, Memory etc.). In the Product Lifecycle table the term is "End of Support" for end of life.

Also, each firmware version has Release Notes, which highlights what issues or vulnerabilities are fixed with it. You can download the firmware and the Release Notes via your MySonicWall.com account.

@cyber_monkey , we always suggest our customers to keep the firmware up-to-date. Since all Gen6 firewalls are currently in Active Retirement Mode, there are bug or vulnerability fixes in each new firmware release. Hence, it is always a good idea to update the firewall as new firmware version is available. Product Life…

Hi @cyber_monkey . This is an old CVE affecting our older firmware versions. Your current firmware 6.5.4.11-97n is not exposed to this vulnerability and more information is available on our Product Security Incident Response Team portal https://psirt.global.sonicwall.com/vuln-list
