@Chris , @BWC I can only agree 100%. Change should be driven by this community. This forum is probably one of the best things I've seen happen at SWL in many many years. It's just a shame it wasn't here a long time ago,.

Hi @raul_cuevas , The SMA500v user licensing (as it stands) at least, is not a solution to the WAF licensing issue which is quite different. There still is no granular steeped licensing for the WAF component on SMA100 series. I am aware of the link you have pointed out. There is nothing "new" about it. Its the WAF…

Hey @BWC , Hold out until I can see if this flies. Looks like there are some issues with it blowing up the DB. I'll post here if we have some success. Best, Steph.

Hi @Ankur , Thanks for your speedy reply. As above the screenshot seems illustrates the before and after upgrade. It was clearly working(somewhat) on the earlier release we had in place. It just stopped dead. I can't comment on your suggestion around URL rewriting is enabled/disabled. It's interesting that it brings about…

Hey @BWC , Noticing some issues now whereby the Classic mode "GEO-IP Polices" don't match the Contemporary mode ones.. Cant change the contemporary mode one because its grayed out and when you try to save it asks for the Policy name (which it already has). So cant update countries.. Best, Stephan.

The WAN redundancy on Sonicwalls is pretty good. You should investigate the different ways in which you can deploy it since you can not just fail over but load balance with ratio, spillover and so on. We also setup routing policies so that backup traffic goes over the secondary WAN interface. You should setup the probes as…

Hi @BWC , I don't have any complaints so far and we have been up for some 28 days now. In that time we have been mucking around with portals and all sorts of things, tuning how the SMA is used. In our experience its been quite solid compared to our product. The branding could do with some work though. Best to your day! S.

Hi @BWC Last time the backups stopped working in our GMS 8.7 installation we noticed that the Installation drive had blown its space. It took ages to get anyone to fix it and that just kept going around in circles. We rebuilt it all (and we also started using the flow server which failed a while back). Trying to make it it…

Hi @BWC , Hadn't noticed anything like that. Can you be more explicit. Under what circumstances. Tunnel, RDP, ... ? Best, S.

Hey @Terri , How did we get on with this one? Kindly, Steph.

Giggle... We started using Teamviewer to do that "adhoc" job too.. I kinda liked it though. We did have some issues with it from time to time. We still have a tile on our website that points to it (which I need to get rid of now). I never got round to trying the Virtual Meeting feature but it looked like it also had some…

I thought SonicWALL were dumping Virtual Assist ? (sadly) we used to use it for "Adhoc" Remote Control... long enough to get our RMM agent in. We had a portal setup for it. Just looking now and I can see its still in v.9 but I thought it was dumped in v.10

Hey Michael, Disclosure of such issues is paramount is it not? If you don't know then how can you fix it? GDPR principles ? S.

oh great. now I've been told that it never worked without TOC turned on (not true). below seems to contradict this.. well lets face it , t wasn't that great but it was SOMETHING.. It was a START. It was doing some thumbprint test ON ENTRY at least. IMHO CAPTURE SHOULD actively attempt to DETONATE EVERY URL. it doesn't.

@Chris , can we please see DTS's for the issues @BWC has raised ? We are also seeing these problems.
