I need to come back about this, actually in retrospect, my question isn't answered. The question was: "How do you handle that the SMAConnectAgent needs administrative rights to be installed?" What I mean here, how should we upgrade the SMAConnectAgent in the field on machines where the enduser does not have administrative…

Hi @Corners, without the "Tik" I don't see a way to do it natively with the SNWL all by itself. --Michael@BWC

Hi @Corners I prefer to run one or more Mikrotiks behind the SonicWall, gives me incredible flexibility. Doing GRE routing to public clouds, EoIP to customers (if needed) etc. - you just need to make sure that the needed tunnel protocol is NATed to the ROS device. SNWL und Mikrotik play along very well, always love it.…

Hi @sonic_dave2469 this option is one of the first I set for every new deployment, without it Connection Log would be somewhat useless. But it does not address my main concern, the senders should be listed in the Message Log, no one wants DHA mails wasting space in the junkbox, IMHO. --Michael@BWC

Hi, is this some kind of self-healing issue, if I'am not mistaken the last couple of days went through without the high CPU usage. No new version installed, so it must be something at the backend. --Michael@BWC

Hi @DerekYu any word when 10.2.0.2, which includes the needed fix, will be released? It's very hard to discuss with the customers why it's not working with this cursed contempory mode and they need to switch to classic first. Not so it-savvy endusers don't get it and causing all kinds of trouble. --Michael@BWC

Hi @ROFISH you got this resolved? Last status on my ticket is still that I need to wait for a new release. --Michael@BWC

Hi, does each false-positive has to sent separately or is it ok to send multiple .eml attachments to the submission address? --Michael@BWC

Hi @RedNet I only deployed the 500v in private cloud environments (VMware, Hyper-V) and was fine with 2 CPU Cores, 4GB RAM and the usual 20GB HDD. But I never crossed the 50 User line, usually in the range of 25-35 and no performance complains. --Michael@BWC

Hi @Halon5 do you mean the "No SPF Record" entries in the message log? Despite the fact that there is a SPF record? sonicwall.com. 3599 IN TXT "v=spf1 include:_spf.corp.sonicwall.com include:_spf.salesforce.sonicwall.com include:_spf.eloqua.sonicwall.com include:_spf.aws.sonicwall.com include:gh-mail.sonicwall.com…

Hi @djhurt1 I wouldn't rely on that Address Group if you have internally routed networks in your LAN zone behind a Core Switch etc., these will not be part of the group. I personally avoid any firewall generated address objects (except Interface IP) to avoid any situations beyond my control, your mileage may vary.…

Hi @Simon I did not do any follow up research on that because no other user complained about it, so I left it as it is for the time being. --Michael@BWC

Hi @sonic_dave2469 sorry, I looked at the wrong place, From-address is unknown in older versions as well. But it makes no sense to NOT log the From-address, because it's essential to investigate in a typical scenario like this: Customer: "A super important mail did not come through" Me: "OK, let me check, what's the…

Hi @pmelchiori finally, someone is sharing my issues, I thought it is that kind of bug again which seems I'am the only one on earth facing it. Hopefully we'll get a fix in the next CC, no ETA so far. Keep killing :) --Michael@BWC

Hi Steph, I will not be much of a help here, because I never used the X-Series, sorry. --Michael@BWC
