  • Hi all, I think the days of URL rewriting are counted. It was a good idea in the beginning, but it causes more problems than its worth, IMHO. Forwarding mails with rewritten URLs causing raised eyebrows all the time. --Michael@BWC
  • Hi @David W thanks, I'll open up a support ticket. But it raises the question, how many users and/or how many mails does it takes that something like PayPal gets treated as SPAM? I can't believe that many legit mails will be submitted, can the system be tricked so easily? UPDATE: Maybe sometimes later :( --Michael@BWC
  • Hi @LWaldrep the spinning came to an end, no more errors on the console and login is showing up again. --Michael@BWC
  • Hi @DerekSmall if I understand you correctly I guess you might be looking for something like this: This list can be easily used in your access rules and are under your full control. But there is no ready-to-use list, you have to create them by yourself or get it from some trusted source. --Michael@BWC
  • Hi @Edcudilla as a fellow ZABBIX user I feel you. SNMP support is lacking a bunch of features, but getting the information via API or SSH is probably the only way to go. I'am following every MIBs release and hope for the best, but no much changes there, all focus on API I guess. Integration into ZABBIX should be straight…
  • Hi @SonicAdmin80 I wouldn't expect any connectivity issues. Fingers crossed :) --Michael@BWC
  • AFAIK it does not alter the WAN management access. ZeroTouch connects to the backend and a site-to-site tunnel gets created with some random IP addresses involved, hopefully not issuing an address conflict. Over this tunnel the NSM connects back to your appliance. I have modified HTTPS Management rules in place and it does…
  • It'll import the current settings, staying them synced is something I'am struggling with, but it's probably me doing it wrong. --Michael@BWC
  • Hi @SonicAdmin80 no, this is done with the magic of ZeroTouch, this needs to be enabled (IMHO it is by default), the appliance phones home and gets automatically assigned to the NSM when "Managed by" is set to cloud on the details page of your appliance in MySonicWall. I believe this was it, did it only once. --Michael@BWC
  • Hi @SonicAdmin80 MGMT access does not have to be enabled on the WAN interface CSC-MA/NSM is using a VPN tunnel for this, not the WAN IP. If you need access from the Internet on the MGMT for other matters, I suggest to edit the WAN-WAN HTTPS Management rule to allow only from specific source address objects. Works great if…
  • Hi @alain_fensor you should just put the appliance and safe mode and reset to factory defaults from there, the reset from the front panel just resets the appliance: --Michael@BWC
  • Hi @Alberto I cannot say for sure (SNWL probably can), but I believe that happens for traffic which got discarded on the way, so the rule got hit, but no actually traffic was flowing. Like routing problems or blocked traffic on the remote side. Usually when you see just TX packets but no RX, the remote side discarded the…
  • Hi @Alberto, show access-rules statistics from the CLI shows you the access rules with statistics information like Usage and Time Last Hit, couldn't find something for the address objects though. --Michael@BWC
  • Hi @SonicwallUser if I get this right, your PPPoE connection does not come up, is this correct? Did you do any PPPoE capturing to see if your PADI packets getting any PADO in return? This is how PPPoE works and if there is no access concentrator your PPPoE client (SNWL) cannot authenticate, no IP addresses involved at this…
  • Hi @SEBASTIAN this was a thing in the past already, saw this on GMS and recently on CSC-MA. I can't call what it is, but it fixed itself over time and it seems that after deploying a new installation that no signature informations are available to be referenced in the reports and needed to be downloaded. If you made sure…
